Jose' Manuel Pellicer wins with Rudy Project

Ten victories in eleven stages sums up the supremacy of José Manuel Pellicer, who dominated the first edition of the Africa Race rally along the Paris-Dakar route. This very tough race bristled with obstacles and adversity along the entire 7500-kilometer route across Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal.

On his BMW 450 X, Pellicer was ahead of Arnaud Jacquart’s KTM and Thomas Schattat’s Yamaha.

Stage after stage, the rider in the BMW-Burn-Profiltek Team wore Klonyx MX, the Rudy Project goggles that guaranteed maximum protection and sharp vision in the blinding African sun. Different types of lenses are available, from those that give protection from very bright sunlight to those that are more suitable for critical conditions of visibility. To guarantee the rider maximum comfort and concentration during the race, the lenses also have a handy “tear off” system that ensures sharp vision without having to clean the goggles.
