Flowers for March 8 at Mido

Traditionally slated for May, for the very first time this year, Mido – International Optics, Optometry and Ophthalmology Exhibition – the industry’s premier event worldwide with 1,250 exhibitors and about 46,000 visitors, will take place on 6-9 March at the Rho-Pero exhibition complex.

The earlier dates, in response to the need expressed by eyewear companies to present their new collections in tune with the international market, will also bring a surprise that is set to delight all ladies.

On Sunday, 8 March, all women visiting the exhibition will receive an azalea, one of the flowers that is typically found in the Lake Maggiore area, as a gift for Women’s Day. The flowers are provided by the Lake Maggiore Flor-Coop, a consortium that grows flowers from the lake district.

Mido has chosen March 8 to promote the unique and special features of districts near the exhibition venue.
