Certottica: meeting on European directive harmonization

At 5 pm, October 19, in Longarone, Certottica and Dolomiticert in collaboration with ANFAO will be holding an event about the harmonization of European Directives with comprehensive updates on recent and upcoming regulations and provisions regarding optical products and other Personal Protection Devices.

The meeting is one of the free services offered to companies interested in having prompt answers and updates on the sector’s various problems and on the correct application of the regulations governing production, distribution and product marketing.
Among other things, the heads of ANFAO’s Technical Commissions will discuss the Directive on medical devices due to come into force in 2010, the revision of the regulation on nickel release and on the status of the ISO regulation for sunglasses.

The various experts speaking at the meeting include Vincenzo Correggia, an officer at the Technical Regulations Office of the Ministry for Economic Development, who will give the Ministry’s realistic evaluation of the current themes on the agenda.
