Barbie presents new vision collection

Inottica, the company that continues to consolidate its image in the Vision and Sun segment for the toddlers to teenage girls targets, presented its latest Barbie Vision collection at Mido 2009.

In its Vision and Sun eyewear collections, Barbie by Inottica has always proposed the latest trends and has inspired little girls to express themselves freely and stand out from the crowd by choosing the eyewear that best corresponds to their tastes and personality.

This is the successful spirit that also inspired the new vision collection 2009, which has different colors to create two micro-collections.

“Funny & Cool” for girls features the basic decision to associate the classic pink Barbie frames with impactful colors; bright red, fuchsia and violet have stunning points of unexpected color in the small but striking details. For example, temples in transparent pink with stylized icons in contrasting yellow or blue.
The step toward a purely and daringly fashionable and glamorous style is demonstrated by the workmanship and the totally recognizable icons, but modified in its purely stylistic choices, such as the famous Barbie silhouette shown for the first time in different forms and styles on the various frames and inserted in super-colorful or silver metal hearts.

For more “romantic” girls, Inottica has created a daintier and softer collection characterized by colors that are less bold. Delicate pastel shades of lilac and pink meet delicious heart shapes or little fluttering flowers.
Here, too, the icons and attention to the smallest details make the difference and each model has its own personality.

All the models in Innotica’s new Barbie collection (in acetate, plastic or combos) feature original shapes and large, wraparound temples.

Inottica wanted to celebrate the birthday of its famous muse with a really special initiative.
4 of the vision models in the FW 2009/2010 collection will be sold (obviously at top opticians’ stores) with a super-cool bracelet. The delightful little hearts on the bracelet can be removed and inserted in the frame of the precious eyewear.

Barbie had a birthday and gave all her devoted little girls another gift: for the occasion, Inottica has created a fabulous Kit comprising:
• Sunglasses decorated with rhinestones and multicolor icons
• A t-shirt
• A special case with silver-colored inserts, gems and fuchsia-colored faux fur inserts
• All contained in a special pink shopper to keep

The Sunglasses Kit has been available at top opticians’ stores since March 9, the official birthday of our much-loved Barbie.
