April 2010: “Optics and Optometry: advantages and opportunities”

The 36th Congresso Nazionale degli Ottici Optometristi (Italian Conference of Opticians and Optometrists) will take place from April 24 through 26, 2010, at the prestigious Grand Hotel in Rimini.

The theme of the event, the most important, comprehensive and authoritative meeting of Italian eyesight professionals, will be “Optics and Optometry: advantages and opportunities”.

The conference will underscore how certain highly professionalizing and technologically-advanced aspects of the field of optometry and contact lenses represent genuine added value and an important opportunity to fully enhance professional potential as well as achieving maximum customer satisfaction.

Numerous personalities will be at the conference, starting with American Professor Sue Barry, author of the book “Fixing my Gaze”, reviewed by two Nobel Prize winners, Erik Kandel and David H. Hubel.

The 2010 edition of the 36th Italian Conference of Opticians and Optometrists will also have a new format: greater involvement of partner companies, which will meet the professional Association in dedicated areas and at in-depth technical discussions during the event.
