Adidas Eyewear at Protest World Rookie Fest 2009

From January 17 through 21, 2009, the Swatch Snowpark at Nottolino, Livigno, was the location of the Protest World Rookie Fest, the Italian stage of the traveling snowboard championship for over 100 young athletes who were selected from the best in 15 countries.

The world-famous appointment was organized by the World Snowboard Federation and some of the participants in this competition go on to being world champions of snowboarding.

As well as sponsoring the event, Adidas Eyewear was also there with a stand. The company saw the amazing performance by Dimi de Jong, a promising new talent from Holland. The young athlete carried out a series of tricks and rotations with the natural agility that brought him victory.

Sponsored by Adidas Eyewear, Dimi de Jong wore the new, multi-award-winning ID2 goggles with a decidedly more aggressive and trendy look in electric blue and orange.
All the new colors for the ID2 will be presented this year at ISPO 2009. Last year it won the ISPO Boardsports Award 2008 in the Accessories category.
