New Briko models
Briko presented a host of new ideas at Silmo. Eniac and Alias are the top of the Active line and feature multifunctional models with a trendy design, top materials and record performance combined with a huge range of uses.
Frames in Grilamid with shapes that are soft, but decisive at the same time. Thrama lenses offer comfort and excellent vision; the lens is perfectly cut in line with the center and sides of the frames. The points where the side-pieces contact the temples and ears have been made extremely comfortable thanks to a soft rubber overcoat on the side-piece itself. The Syncro Bridge in latex rubber with a special semicircular finish has soft pads that perfectly adapt to the shape of the nose. General comfort is therefore greater as there is no sucker effect when perspiration is heavy.
Another new product is Alien, glasses that provide wide and perfect vision in any situation and at any time during winter or summer sports. The Grilamid frames have base 10 Thrama lenses. Thanks to the simulation of the extreme vision angles typical of competitions, shape and design guarantee the widest vision surface. The special structure of the removable sweat band runs along the entire external surface of the glasses. Two different materials were used to make them: the outside in stiffer Grilamid and the inside in softer sponge for record hold. The temple is joined to the frame by means of an exclusive and patented mechanical joint with the Temple Lock System (TLS) which makes temple insertion and opening easier and it is perfectly fixed in position when the glasses are worn. Another great advantage of Alien is their perfect adaptability to changes in season or other less extreme sports. The glasses come with a pair of side-pieces. When necessary, the removal of the elastic and the hooking on of the two side-pieces is made simple by the patented TLS system. They are available in two sizes: Alien for adults and Mini Alien for juniors.
And again Twice, the most versatile aluminum glasses in the Briko collection. The look of the glasses can be changed easily and immediately: one-piece mask or more aggressive two-lens glasses. Frames are made completely in aluminum with decisive, but soft, shapes. They have Flex-Hinges that optimize fit. Thrama lenses offer comfort and excellent vision. The Quick-Change Kit, a Briko exclusive, makes the glasses multifunctional: with a simple gesture, the front-piece can be changed to adapt the glasses to different situations. The bridge is in latex rubber with an internal core that gives excellent adjustment for any type of face. This detail considerably increases fit comfort as well as further characterizing the look of the glasses.
Lastly, made using the Zygo technology, White Peak has been created for extreme uses. The integrated sweat band increases and improves overall ventilation so there is no lens fogging with more intense effort. These glasses that can be worn for winter sports, like Nordic skiing, or summer sports like cycling. Grilamid frames with Thrama lenses with a base 7 curve. Comfort and perfect hold on the face are guaranteed by the side-pieces, also made using Zygo technology, which have a rigid body that gives solidity and soft material inserts that make them elastic and capable of exerting the correct pressure on all types of face. The same technology that perfectly combines the two materials also makes ear contact soft and comfortable. The patented Microturn System means that the side-pieces totally disappear when closed. When the side-pieces are opened, they click into place with micrometric precision that always ensures perfect fit and comfort.
