Viktor & Rolf seek eyewear partners
The Dutch stylist duo, Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, has just opened its first store in Milan, via Sant'Andrea 14. The 70 square-meter outlet was opened together with partner Gibò, which controls 50% of the company that manages the brand; the remaining shares are held by the two stylists.
Currently, turnover for clothing stands at around 8 million euros, but new agreements are on the way. 'We have just signed a license with Iris for women's footwear (starting from the fall-winter 2005-06 season)', they told Milano Finanza Fashion. 'And we have created scarves and neckties with Mantero'.
The stylists are also looking for a partner for Europe and the United States for an eyewear line that is already on the Japanese market.
