This was the message that Yoko Ono tweeted on what would have been the 44th anniversary of her marriage to John Lennon.   The 80-year-old artist of Japanese origin and widow of the singer who died 33 years ago, wanted to observe the anniversary by underscoring her pacifist commitment and humanitarian activism.   Yoko Ono tweeted the image of the bloodstained eyeglasses of her husband, who was 40 when he was murdered by Mark Chapman in New York City on December 8, 1980. The image was accompanied by these words: "Over 1,057,000 people have been killed by guns in the United States since John Lennon was shot and killed on December 8, 1980. Together, let's bring back America, the green land of peace".
