WooDone presents Cameron
For every model in the line, a sheet composed of eight layers of chipboard obtained from recycled material Every pair of WooDone glasses is made from a single sheet composed of eight layers of chipboard obtained from recycled material from certified Alto Adige trees. Thanks to a system that does not disrupt the veining, when the temples and front are cut out its original continuity is maintained. The wood continuity is not interrupted even for the insertion of the flex hinges, that are made from a special alloy to guarantee durability and functioning over time. They have no screws, are smooth to the touch and totally invisible from the outside to enhance the untouched natural characteristics of the raw material. The eyewear - which can be worn with prescription or sun lenses – is not colored in order to emphasize the essential beauty of the wood. A special lacquer finish makes it strong, ecological and non-allergic. These characteristics are all enveloped in a frame that weighs only 13 grams. The unspoiled landscapes of the Dolomites inspire shapes that follow the most up to date fashion trends, which are redesigned to be combined with the natural beauty of wood. Square shapes with a decisive character or softer, more feminine shapes in the colors of Alto Adige wood: the copper brown of walnut, the golden honey of cherry, the warm black of acacia. An anthem to nature, the first real designer of this exclusive eyewear that lives on the wearer's skin to take on unique nuances and instill its past like an innate memory.
