Welcome back Rodenstock!

Welcome back Rodenstock!

Oliver Kastallo and Alberto Tappainer tell us all about their Mido come-back Mido has been reconfirmed as the indisputable leader of the sector and that's not according to us but to the facts. Great new developments and returns are envisaged for the 2014 edition and one of these is Rodenstock. After a year's absence, the company has confirmed that it will be at the fair on March 1-2-3, with two stands in pavilions 22 and 24.   "For our customers, Mido is one of the most important international optical fairs inside and outside Europe, and a reliable sensor of sector trends" said Oliver Kastalio, CEO of Rodenstock Group. "For us, MIDO is the ideal international platform for presenting our company's new developments that aim to provide optimal support for our customers – eye care professionals – and for our strategic partners with a perfect portfolio of products. We are pleased to be back at MIDO in 2014!"   "Mido is certainly the ideal place for meeting customers who have chosen Rodenstock as a partner and for presenting to them our complete "Better Vision System" that includes lenses, instruments and frames" repeated Alberto Tappainer, managing director of Rodenstock Italia. "Our return to MIDO also coincides with the opportunity to present to the market an extraordinary number of new developments in all our sectors of business, particularly with regard to eyewear."   Kastalio described MIDO 2014 as "the occasion for presenting new developments in the Rodenstock 'Better Vision System', the perfect mix of lenses and frames that focuses on the needs of the eye care professional as well as those of the final consumer. In addition to important innovations in the ophthalmic lens business, visitors will discover two new and very special eyewear collections with the Rodenstock label: 'Claudia Schiffer by Rodenstock' and 'Rocco by Rodenstock'". This and much more will be unveiled - from the latest eyewear collections from Rodenstock and its brands under license, to new products in the lens and instruments portfolio. But "the details are still top secret" the Group's CEO explained.   When asked what they expect from the return to and participation in Mido 2014, Kastalio replied: "At our spacious stand at the fair, we want to give our customers and visitors from all over the world a complete experience of the Rodenstock brand. Our general aim is to exhibit the new products that will help eye care professionals to be even more effective when advising customers and when selling; the objective is to sell products with greater added value, create end-customer loyalty and, as a consequence, grow sales. At MIDO 2014 we will also be proud to present all our new developments in eyewear. Visiting us is certain to be worthwhile!"
