Two new models in the Prada Journal collection

Two new models in the Prada Journal collection

Refined nuances, exclusive acetates with contrasting glossy and matte finishes confirm the brand's creative spirit The new Prada Journal collection follows the stylistic slant of the previous season and continues the intimate and original story of a world unequivocally captured by lenses and, ultimately, by the eyes. The story meanders through two new vision models that enrich the Journal Collection and precisely define moments of reality, harmoniously reassembling them in a new language.   The feminine version of the collection is a sophisticated combination of classic shapes and sinuous temples with a three-dimensional effect. For men, profile geometries and generous sizes convey the special character that distinguishes Prada eyewear. Refined colors, the exclusiveness of certain acetates and contrasting matte and glossy finishes confirm the creative spirit that permeates the entire collection.   VPR14Q – This vision model for women from the new Journal collection features a vaguely-Fifties elegance and a square acetate front with a hint of a cat-eye shape. The finish and beveling work of the temples has a three-dimensional effect with a vintage flavor. In addition to classic black and medium tortoise, the color palette is a playful combination of a front in ivory, cacao and purple and tortoise temples in the Orchid, Dark Sand and Purple Cacao variants.   VPR11Q – This vision model for men in the new Journal collection unites a classic rectangular shape with the creative flair of boldly crafted acetate. A metal detail on the linear, geometric temples shows the logo with the word Prada. Classic black and tortoise are joined by refined nuances of cacao and marbled black. The exclusive acetates are silkscreened with a hound's-tooth print taken from Prada's Fall/Winter 2013 collection for men to enrich the inside of the temples in the black and cacao variants.
