Submissions Sought By LES for Outstanding Ophthalmic Technicians

RALEIGH, N.C.—In recognition of the Second Annual Ophthalmic Medical Technician Appreciation Week this week, Nov. 3 to 9, Local Eye Site has been encouraging its users to honor the contributions of ophthalmic technicians with nominations for a contest for outstanding service. More than 1,000 submissions have been received so far and the nomination deadline is 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 10.   Said Steven Squires, Jr., director of marketing, "At Local Eye Site, we know that ophthalmic technicians are some of the hardest working professionals in ophthalmology. This week, we're proud to honor all of them out there for their hard work, passion and dedication to their profession. We thought it would be fun to ask people to nominate an ophthalmic technician they feel deserves some recognition for their outstanding service in the industry.   See more
