Silhouette celebrates its 50th anniversay at Mido

At the fair to present a modern space-age interpretation of one of the company's icons For Christian Hafner, Silhouette International brand manager, "Mido is the appointment par excellence in the optical sector world market. A balanced presence at this event together with other renowned leaders in the designer eyewear world allows our company to confirm its multiyear existence at the appropriate level on the international scene".   Making the difference for Silhouette this year is its location at the Fair, Hafner underscored: "Our new and long-hoped for position in the design pavilion confirms and extols the innovative tradition that has been part of our company throughout its history: style, design, technical sophistication and quality are the characteristics by which we have always been identified".   This is a noteworthy year for the company, which is also celebrating an important milestone. "Faithful to our decision, in 2014, the year in which we will celebrate our first half-century, we will propose a modern and futuristic interpretation of one of Silhouette's design icons, the epitome of our vision of style, design and technology" the company's brand manager explained.   What does Silhouette expect from Mido in 2014? "At a time of great cultural changes and consumption models, we are working to ensure that the rewarding value of quality and style - which is frequently obscured by the fleeting whims of fashion - is increasingly recognized and appreciated, especially by end-users" Christian Hafner replied. "We hope that the entire system of high-end eyewear will be able to make customers aware of the value that is inherent in all high-quality products; the awareness of owning a product that offers real benefits, the value of which is absolutely in line with the price".
