National Export Plan 2013-2015 presented in Rome today

The ambitious goal is 620 billion euro over the next 3 years To reach 620 billion euro by end 2015. This is the ambitious goal of the National Export Plan 2013-2015 that was present today in Rome by the Italian Minister for Economic Development, Corrado Passera, and the president of the Italian Foreign Trade Association (ICE), Riccardo Monti, in the presence of Prime Minister Mario Monti.   According to the latest estimates, Italy closed 2012 with exports of goods and services totaling 473 billion euro. Over three years, the plan aims to add about 145 billion euro, with significant growth in the main reference areas: +55% in Africa and the Middle East, +39% in Asia, +44% in Latin America.   Inevitably, these targets will be evaluated with the arrival of the next government, which has been called upon to initiate intervention proposals aimed at fostering foreign trade, from tax breaks to the increase of ICE's budget.   Source: Il Sole 24 Ore
