Merger of Superior Vision and Block Vision Approved, Creating One of the Country’s Largest Vision Benefits Providers

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. and LINTHICUM, Md.—The merger of managed vision care leaders, Superior Vision and Block Vision, has received final approval. Creating one of the country's largest vision benefits providers serving the employer group and health plan markets, the combined company will provide vision benefit plans to more than 8.5 million members nationwide with a provider network of more than 55,000 access points.
