Marchon creates new EMEA division

It will handle retail business for action sports and lifest Marchon Eyewear has created a new sales division exclusively for handling sports sector services for the EMEA market, including retail business for action sports, sports in general and lifestyle.   Called Marchon Sports EMEA, the division has a product portfolio that includes performance and lifestyle sunglasses, Nike Vision ski goggles, sunglasses for action sports, ski goggles and MX goggles for Dragon Alliance.   The young and dynamic team will be headed by Gunther Herrmann, who boasts twenty years' experience in the distribution of sport items and has held various senior positions in the Marchon Group.   To support the growth of the EMEA market, Craig Smith will become EMEA Marketing & Sales Manager for Dragon. Craig has 11 years of experience in the action sport market and for the past 6 years he has been Brand Development Manager for Dragon in the United Kingdom.   Moreover, Eric Brendel will join the team as EMEA Marketing & Sales Manager for Nike Vision in the sport item channel thanks to his 12 years' experience of action sports and the sport item channel.   The team will work closely with the Nike Vision team at Marchon's headquarters in New York City, and with JC Clenet, head of Dragon International business in Carlsbad, California.   The division has offices in Amsterdam, Munich and London, as well as local offices for distribution and customers of the Marchon's European Distribution Center in Amsterdam.   Marchon Sports will supply retailers through its action sport distribution partners and their sales teams as well as direct sales teams for covering all the channels that handle sport items.
