Kaos and La Matta: Indian-inspired colors and details

The colors, patterns and graphic designs that characterize the fabrics and ornaments of these peoples are a feature of the proposals by the Area98 brands The culture of Indian tribes takes shape in the models of the new Kaos and La Matta collections by Area98. The patterns, colors and graphic designs that characterize the fabrics and ornaments of these far-off peoples inspired the new models presented at Mido.   Energy-packed sunny hues transform the Kaos frames into multi-colored palettes thanks to Indian-inspired geometric designs reproduced with metal appliques or colored resin on the temples. Made exclusively for this collection, the multilayer acetates are either in bas-relief to emphasize the decorations in contrasting hues or superimposed to create high-relief graphic effects that give the temples a movement effect. The carved, modern shapes of Kaos eyewear feature strong outlines and are accentuated by bright colors, which remain the distinctive mark of this brand characterized by a young and irreverent soul. The maximum expression of artisan technique is found in model KKV307, a frame with inlaid temples and front that gives a totally original kaleidoscopic effect.   The Indian inspiration is the common denominator also in the La Matta collection, where color is interpreted in animal prints with quirky nuances like blue spots or fuchsia zebra stripes combined with frame-enhancing metal and acetate decorations.   Created for women who want to express exuberant but refined elegance, the models have large, rounded shapes - a hint to past fashion revisited in a chic, modern style. Interpreted in unique and impactful hues, the La Matta collection also marks a return to metal, which appears discreetly on the front and is combined with acetate temples.
