Italia Independent chooses Sestriere
Official inauguration of the seventh Italian monobrand store in downtown Via Pinerolo "With the opening of Sestriere, Italia Independent has seven monobrand stores in Italy. The concept of the monobrand store in Sestriere fully reflects I-I's philosophy thanks to a new design by Changedesign, the multicultural and multidiscipline company founded by Renato Montagner and responsible for the projects and creative direction of all the brand's stores. The store is in a strategic location in Sestriere that connects downtown Via Pinerolo with the ski lifts. The now classical style of every Italia Independent interior features cyan-colored surfaces, a camouflage theme, and furnishings of modular elements in metal that are used as display spaces. The store also features the Sestriere skyline standing out against a large area of the store and the claim "Being independent means writing one's own story every day" in gilded lettering. Solid wood flooring painted gray and backlit tubes for displaying apparel reinterpret the characteristic mountain locales in a modern key. For the occasion, Italia Independent has dedicated a "Unique Edition" to the city of Sestriere, a prestigious location renowned throughout the world for its excellent ski slopes. The model chosen is 090V, an I-I bestseller, with a velvet front and a revisited iconic shape. In addition to giving the eyewear a feeling of softness, the UV LUX© treatment was designed to guarantee product integrity, even after frequent use and prolonged exposure to the sun. Italia Independent holds the usage rights to the UV LUX© treatment world patent. Unique Edition features the city of Sestriere colors, a black velvet front and temples in the black, green and blue tricolor; "Unique Edition for Sestriere Independent" appears on the left temple.
