Hoya Launches Two New iD LifeStyle 2 Designs

Hoya Vision Care Canada announces the launch of iD LifeStyle 2 Clarity and iD LifeStyle 2 Harmony lens designs iD LifeStyle 2 is the natural evolution of Hoya's state-of-the-art lens design and its people-inspired personalization based on years of data collection and analysis. iD LifeStyle 2's featured lens designs, Clarity and Harmony, have been optimized to accommodate every age and lifestyle. With just a few questions – age, occupation, prescription, amount of screen time – an eyecare professional can easily recommend a lens that's right for the patient's visual needs.   iD LifeStyle Clarity is a progressive lens design with its primary focus on maximizing distance vision which tends to be most important to newer, more active, progressive lens wearers in the 35-50 age range. iD LifeStyle Harmony is designed to be the "go-to" progressive lens when you want to provide the most comfortable distribution of powers across the primary viewing areas.   "The iD LifeStyle 2 has been optimized for two key demographics but that is not to say there are just two types of presbyopes," noted Dr. Anne Marie Lahr, Hoya's Director of Education, "To the contrary, the data we collected helped us identify the most conventional issues and correct them for two key targets of PAL wearers. Individuals new to PALs between the ages of 35 and 50, and the more experienced PAL wearer, who is looking for smoother transitions between near, intermediate and distance, will derive a level of customization that was previously only available in the highest level of personalized lens technology."   All iD LifeStyle 2 lenses are available in a wide range of materials, including plastic, Phoenix 1.53 and Hi-index 1.60, 1.67 and 1.74 with Hoya's industry-leading AR treatments like EX3, Super Hi Vision and Recharge.
