The rationalization and consolidation of the production process have enabled the company to offer a unique personalization service by positioning layers of wood in an extremely personal sequence of colors.   Personalization is also possible on the inside of the eyewear where a number, name, signature, or logo can be laser-engraved to make the eyewear even more original and unique – just like its owner. Other important projects are also underway thanks to the unanimous recognition of the innovation and high quality of FEB31st wooden eyewear.   These include a capsule collection of eyewear in kauri wood (a unique, 48,000-year-old wood excavated in New Zealand) manufactured with RIVA 1920, a prestigious company that has always been an authority on woodworking.   FEB31st and designer Valerio Cometti created the style and exquisite craftsmanship and RIVA1920 brought its experience and knowledge of kauri wood. This special capsule collection is called 48,000 to pay tribute to the purity and famous "gold veining" of kauri wood. Designer Valerio Cometti was the first to combine the naturalness of wood and the energy of color. His sensitivity and flair has led to the creation of iconic shapes for the 48,000 capsule collection and the FEB31st one, which have been revisited through the eyes of the designer and are always consistent with a variety capable of interpreting the times.   The wood used to make FEB31st eyewear is of the highest quality and strictly FSC certified, while the frames are of very high quality, comfort and excellent wearability. Such results are achieved thanks to numerous small details: the lightness of the frame (only 21 grams), the perfect fit, the reinforced nose piece, the choice of the best small parts, and the careful study of an innovative method for inserting vision or sun lenses.
