Co-branding by Italia Independent and K-Way

Special Edition eyewear and a reinterpretation of the Union Jack for Rock Save Italy Italia Independent and K-Way, the renowned waterproof brand that is classic and contemporary, technological, functional and colorful, now in the BasicNet Group portfolio, recently presented their first co-branding project.   "We are proud to present this new collaboration. K-Way represents excellence in the world of waterproofs and is part of a Turin-based company. K-Way, which packs into a hip bag, is an icon and it was an honor for us to be able to reinterpret it by linking it to the Rock Save Italy project, which shows a Union Jack in the colors of the Italian flag. To complete the synergy, we have also dedicated eyewear to this project by reinterpreting our bestseller with the K-Way yellow and orange stripes on the temples. The product represents the know-how in the companies' respective sectors", stated Andrea Tessitore, President and CEO of Italia Independent.   "Co-branding with Italia Independent" – explained Raffaella Traverso, head of the Fashion Division at BasicNet Group – "was a stimulating experience for us. It was the first "four hand" job for which we combined our respective creative skills: Italia Independent made unique eyewear with K-Way's historical blue-orange-yellow zip pattern, and for the first time on one of its garments, K-Way applied the red velvet effect of Italia Independent's famous flag. Our co-branding panorama is already extensive but without a doubt it has been enriched thanks to this new collaboration".   For the occasion, Italia Independent created Unique Edition eyewear that celebrates the historical K-Way pattern. The model chosen for the operation is 090, the bestseller in the soft touch rubber version. Unique Edition comes in two colors: a white front with mirrored gold lenses or a blue front with smoked lenses. In both models, the historical K-Way blue-orange-yellow stripe pattern is printed on the temples and "Unique Edition for K-Way" is printed on the inside of the left temple.   K-Way has applied Italian Independent's colors and logo to two of its classic models: Jacques Plus (unisex) and Lily Plus (women). This two-pocket waterproof jacket is in Nylon Plus technology, which is comfortable, fully waterproof, windproof and breathable. It also has a slim fit, a fixed adjustable hood and a two-way, full zip closure. The "Rock Save Italy" print on the front in red velvet effect and the reflective Italia Independent logo printed vertically on the lower right side of the back personalize the jacket. Two versions: unisex and women's, both in white and gray.
