
Cleto Sagripanti is the new President of FIAMP
Sagripanti takes over from Cirillo Marcolin at the head of FIAMP for the next two years For the 2013/2015 two-year period Assocalzaturifici President Cleto Sagripanti will be the new President of FIAMP, the Italian Federation of Fashion and Personal Accessories, which is a member of the Confederation of Italian Industry (Confindustria). Appointed today at a general meeting of all member associations (Aimpes – leather, hide and substitutes, Anfao - eyewear, Federorafi – gold and jewelry, AIP – the Italian Fur Association, as well as Assocalzaturifici for footwear), Sagripanti will take over from Cirillo Marcolin with the aim of representing the system of associations linked to the world of accessories and enhancing its role in the entire fashion system. "While continuing the excellent work carried out my by friend Marcolin, my task" - Cleto Sagripanti stated – "will be to strengthen synergies between the city of Milan, the trade fairs that our associations represent, and the main players in the fashion industry. I am convinced that Milan's importance on the fashion scene cannot be separated from our trade fair events, which are a fundamental element of attraction for thousands of international buyers. I will work on putting our role across and on creating increasingly solid bonds with the political powers, representatives of entrepreneurs and stylists, retailers and the media that will enhance the leading role played by accessories in Milan complex fashion system". The new President will be joined by Assocalzaturifici director Fabio Aromatici, who will be the Federation's general secretary, and by Cirillo Marcolin as vice president.
