Charmant: huge success for “Europe for Japan” campaign
The fundraising campaign launched for the company's 25th anniversary in Europe ended in Munich During the latest edition of OPTI Munich, the "Europe for Japan" fundraising campaign promoted by Charmant came to a successful close. Launched last year at OPTI, this campaign was at the center of the celebrations for Charmant's 25th anniversary in Europe. In 2012 the Charmant Group sold delightful special origami at a cost of 1 euro. They were especially handmade by Charmant Europe employees, their friends and families and were sold to commercial partners, customers and their friends and families. The company's goal was to raise 25,000 euros to donate to "Kinderhilfswerk / KHW", which helps children who were involved in the 2011 tsunami catastrophe in Japan. The organization provides assistance in refugee camps by preparing hot meals, distributing humanitarian aid and supporting rebuilding operations. In a festive atmosphere at OPTI, Taketoshi Mizukami, CEO and President of Charmant Europe, handed over a check for the entire amount to "Kinderhilfswerk/ KHW" representative Beate Tohme. The funds raised by Charmant will be used to rebuilt a kindergarten at Kamaishi. The Charmant Group would like to sincerely THANK all those who took part in this campaign by making an important contribution to achieving the final amount.
