Following on the success of clariti 1day multifocal contact lenses, Centennial Optical launches clariti multifocal in the Canadian market Following on the success of clariti 1day multifocal contact lenses, Centennial Optical announces the availability of clariti multifocal, a reusable silicone hydrogel with Sauflon's innovative multifocal lens design, providing eyecare professionals (ECPs) with the opportunity to fit a greater range of their presbyopic patients with clariti lenses. The clariti reusable family of silicone hydrogel lenses is now available in sphere and multifocal designs, mirroring the world's only, award-winning family of silicone hydrogel daily disposable lenses, and providing silicone hydrogel lenses to meet the majority of patients' lifestyle and vision needs.   Clariti multifocal combines the ground-breaking clariti 1day multifocal optical design with Sauflon's manufacturing process and patented AquaGen technology. This ensures a highly wettable lens surface, which, combined with the low modulus and high water content, helps enhance the biocompatibility with the ocular surface and provides exceptional comfort that lasts all day. Importantly, all clariti lenses (reusable and daily disposable) incorporate UVA and UVB protection, helping promote long-term ocular health.   This unique combination serves to further amplify the success that ECPs have experienced in upgrading patients from hydrogel lenses, which allows them to wear their lenses for longer while meeting their new vision requirements as they progress into presbyopia.
