Outstanding intermediate vision is at the heart of the design, specially engineered to meet the requirements of today's lifestyle.   Thanks to EVO (Equi-View Optimization) technology, DigiLife boasts instantaneous focus in all zones, with exceptional vision where needed most. High-precision visual mapping is focused on the intermediate zone so that this area is more than doubled in both width and field compared to existing backside progressives.   Nikon enhances the integrity of the design by respecting each patient's natural vision path. Custom fitting parameters integrated into the design calculation optimize the back surface of the lens for each pair of eyes. DigiLife even encompasses a patient's preferred reading distance. This measurement, combined with other parameters provided by the eyecare specialist, yields a sophisticated algorithm to create and define the final customization feature: the personalized variable inset. Compared to the standard 2.5 mm, DigiLife's inset value is calculated to the utmost precision between 0.0 – 5.0 mm, with 0.1-mm steps.   DigiLife is available in any material (1.50, 1.59, 1.60. 1.67, 1.74), multiple progression lengths (corridor 10, 12, 14), base curve options 4 and 7, and in clear, Transitions® and polarized.
