Versace: new Crystal Medusa project

Two new and unforgettable models inspired by the exclusive jewelry line For the new and exclusive Crystal Medusa collection, Versace was inspired by the line of jewelry for the creation of two unforgettable models. A sophisticated and ultra-feminine symbol of style and elegance, Crystal Medusa has a bright, luminous and exuberant look enriched by the sublime glamor and contemporary refinement that have always made Versace's style unique.   Presented in a palette of warm and feminine fall colors, the collection consists of a sun and vision model, both in gold-colored metal with shaded lenses and both enhanced by a special clutch case: an original and chic gift idea for the holiday season. The new Crystal Medusa collection is also the subject of the Versace Fall/Winter 2012 advertising campaign. Photographed in a London studio by Mert Alas and Markus Piggott, it conveys the gothic, underground inspiration of the fashion collection in a setting of alternating light and shade. Giovanni Bianco is the artistic director of the campaign.   VE4237B This oversize model conjures up the glamorous and alluring style typical of the atelier. Characterized by absolute femininity that gives the eyes a touch of sensual mystery, these sunglasses are embellished with a knurled metal decoration. Surrounded in light from precious Swarovski crystals, the "Medusa" design applied to the temples is a particularly distinctive detail of the frame. The colored enamel contours of the Medusa repeat and enhance the colors of this model which range from brilliant black to brown Havana, red Havana and purple Havana.   VE3168B The design of this vision model is reminiscent of the vintage lines of a classical and sophisticated past, the expression of a decisive and modern style. The knurled metal detail of the temples with the precious "Medusa" logo contrasts with the understated silhouette of a frame that features a new stylistic effect: the "Medusa" logo has an enamel edging in the same color as the acetate and a circle of Swarovski crystals creates a new and explosive light effect. This model is illuminated by precious details combined with the warm, autumnal colors of brilliant black, dappled brown, stripy purple and stripy pink.
