
The first public appearance for Google glasses
They made their debut during the New York Fashion Week Project Glass, the augmented reality glasses invented by Google, made their debut during the New York Fashion Week. This is the first time that the super-tech glasses, which exploit the futuristic Big G system, have been presented to a public beyond the sector experts. The designer Diane von Furstenberg used them to produce a short video entitled "DVF through Glass", tracking the activity of the models and the designer during the show from a totally new first-person perspective. The video footage collected on the runway will be used to make a documentary 'DVF through Glass' which will be broadcast on September 13 on Google's YouTube channel. Lots of the VIPs present, including Valentino and Sarah Jessica Parker, were greatly impressed by this new and futuristic product.
