Striking Davis Vision Lab Employees Return to Work

Approximately 115 employees returned to work at Davis Vision's optical lab located here after being on strike for almost one month. The International IUE/CWA Union and its Local 81408, representing the associates at Davis's Newtown Square facility, agreed to terms of a new contract and concluded their strike on Saturday Feb. 18. The strike was originally authorized on Jan. 22. According to the company," the new contract renews the company's emphasis on production standards, while amplifying the desire to deliver high-quality eyewear to its members and clients."   Read the article on VMail
