Ottica Venturini presents “Prove Speciali” Bolivia

The new edition of the customary event organized by the Ottica Venturini team leaves from La Paz The Prove Speciali (special trials) team left from La Paz June 15 to attempt to climb one of the Andes' most spectacular stratovolcanoes in the Nevados de Quimsachata Volcanic Complex along the border between Bolivia and Chile.   On June 26 they intend to climb Acotango, a 6,052 m stratovolcano, followed some days later by Parinacota (6,340 m), provided that the good weather holds.   As usual, the climbers' eyes will be protected by the best eyewear with state-of-the-art lenses for guaranteeing high levels of performance and comfort during extreme use. Photochromic (variable tint) lenses will also be tested on the numerous excursions in the rain forest and at night.   The following is the complete itinerary of the expedition to the ruins of ancient civilizations, islands, volcanoes, the desert and rain forest:   La Paz, Tiwanaku, Copacabana, Sun Island, the Uyuni Salt Lake, Nature Reserve E. Avaroa, Volcano Tunupa.   Lauca National Park, Sajama National Park, Acotango, Parinacota, Rurrenabaque, Madidi National Park.
