Arcobaleno is inspired by the famous wedge sandal with layers of multi-colored suede Arcobaleno is a line of sunglasses inspired by the famous wedge sandal with layers of multi-colored suede that Salvatore Ferragamo created for Judy Garland in the 1930s.   An icon of Ferragamo style and creativity, a symbol of the tireless search for original shapes and materials.   Arcobaleno has a generous frame with a front in tortoise arnatol acetate and sinuous tone-on-tone curves that continue softly along the temples to create an extremely elegant and delicate decorative motif.   The colors of the Arcobaleno frame are basic: black, brown, purple and red seem to be reflected thanks to a sophisticated color effect and plays of light by the palladium decoration on the nose piece and temples.   The effect is to make the eyewear even more full of verve and interest. "Arcobaleno" sunglasses will be on sale exclusively in Salvatore Ferragamo boutiques throughout the world from June 2012.
