Istituto Zaccagnini XVI Annual Interdisciplinary Congress

In October a complete look at the various aspects of sight and related problems from those affecting children to presbyopia The XVI Annual Interdisciplinary Congress organized by the Istituto Benigno Zaccagnini and ZBS Business School will be held as usual in Bologna, Sunday through Monday October 28 and 29, 2012 at the Congress Center in the Hotel Savoia.   Speakers from Italy and abroad will be focusing on the various aspects of sight and related problems from those affecting children to presbyopia.   A section of the Congress will be devoted to the liberalization of professions and its effects on opticians, the consequences for the education system and training. Also to be discussed will be the role played by the Register of Optometrists (Registro dell'Optometrista Magistrale) and recent developments.   The Congress will close with a round table at which leading exponents of the industry and retailing will discuss optical distribution in recent years. It will be preceded by a presentation of market data by GfK Retail and Technology Italia.
