Gotti: sunglasses receive two awards

"Fons" was distinguished with the IF product design award 2012 and also the red dot product award 2012 "Fons" sunglasses by the Swiss eyewear brand, Götti Switzerland, were distinguished with the iF product design award 2012 and also the red dot product award 2012.   The iF product design award has been a recognized mark of achievement for excellent design for 58 years. Fons sunglasses from Götti Switzerland were chosen as the winner of the iF label from among 2,900 submissions.   The international jury of experts for the red dot awards was also impressed by Fons sunglasses. The 30-member expert jury judged more than 4,500 submitted designs and awarded the prize to Götti sunglasses. They were especially convinced by the successful use of forms and quality of design. Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, Initiator and CEO of the red dot design award, emphasized the contest's high quality level: „With their performance, the award winners prove not just extraordinary design quality, but also that design is an integral component of innovative product solutions." The technical innovation behind the Götti sunglasses is the patented eyeglass temple that can be rotated 360°. The so-call Spin & Stow temples make it possible to fold the sunglasses up flat so that they easily fit in even the smallest pocket.   Sven Götti, Head of Design and CEO of Götti Switzerland, is very pleased about the two awards.
