Francesco Pagliariccio at German Design Award 2013

The set designer who for many years has collaborated on Mido settings was nominated for the important German award Francesco Pagliariccio, a young set designer with Italy's RAI TV network and an established designer of settings for fashion and other events, has received a nomination for the German Design Award 2013. For many years Francesco has worked on designing and mounting the Design Lab and Fashion District areas at Mido.   After the huge success of this year's edition, in 2013 the German Design Council will be repeating an event aimed at awarding products with high levels of design. To meet the needs of participants some changes have been made to the award categories: for example, more categories will be added – there are 10 this year – for more targeted awards.   We now await the announcement of which projects have been selected and the categories in which the young designer has been chosen.
