Dsquared² and Marcolin strengthen partnership

Early renewal of license agreement The Marcolin Group, one of the world leaders of the eyewear sector, and Dean and Dan Caten, stylists of the Dsquared² brand, have announced the early renewal of the license agreement for the design, production and worldwide distribution of Dsquared² sunglasses and vision frames. The agreement is the five-year renewal of the partnership, with an option for another five years, under the terms and conditions of the current contract. With this renewal the parties have agreed to increase investments in communication over the next five-year period aimed at growing sales and guaranteeing maximum product visibility.   Maurizio Marcolin, Style & Licensing Officer at Marcolin Group, commented: "We are extremely pleased about continuing a partnership that is oriented toward the further international development of the Dsquared2 Eyewear brand. This renewal is proof of the strong professional collaboration that has been built up over the years and again confirms Marcolin as a reference partner for brands that want excellence not only in design but also in product quality and distribution. Dsquared2 Eyewear is another demonstration of Marcolin's ability to successfully develop the extension of luxury brands". Dean and Dan Caten said:   "We are happy to renew the agreement with Marcolin, a company that over the years has demonstrated its ability to grow and establish itself in markets that are increasingly competitive and exacting. The early renewal of the contract will guarantee peace of mind for both companies and enable us to work together in peace. What struck us most about this company is its ability to differentiate the brands in its portfolio, respect each one's personality and successfully interpret it while also developing very high quality products".
