CooperVision Appoints New President for the European Management Team

PLEASANTON, Calif.— CooperVision, Inc.,  a unit of The Cooper Companies, Inc. (NYSE:COO), has appointed Mark Harty as a new president leading the company's European efforts, effective Oct. 8. Harty has extensive experience as a general manager working in numerous international roles.   Most recently, he served as the general manager, Medical and Surgical Division of United Drug (UK) Holdings Ltd.
