Michele D'Adamo, new Managing Director Italy: "I will perform the role with my customary passion and energy" An engineering graduate from Milan Polytechnic and an alumnus of the London Business School, Michele joined the company in 1996 as Manager of Italian production at the Sunlens Division. He immediately demonstrated great passion and professionalism, and in just a few years he became head of operations and then global Managing Director in 2008.   Under his management and with the support of a qualified, motivated team, the Division achieved significant growth objectives and indentified new strategic approaches to the market. Over the years, Michele's role has always been characterized by important international experience, which brought him professional enrichment in the optical sector and elsewhere, and by equally strong roots in Italy, where the sun filter Division has always been based.   Although very different but also very close, for the first time the ophthalmic lens division and the sun filter division will share an important leader. Michele D'Adamo will ensure that both have synergic growth under the aegis of ZEISS, the most famous and recognized brand, a synonym of quality and excellence that now has an increasingly complete, innovative and transversal product portfolio.
