Blackfin increasingly versatile and revolutionary

Six new models confirm the constant technical and stylistic research pursued by the company based in Agordo Past and future come together in the new 50'S series, a perfect marriage between technology and the retro flavor of the Forties and Fifties. The three innovative models are made from titanium sheet that for the first time has not been milled in any way. A frame with a flexible, lightweight structure, beta-titanium temples and top bar and soldered wire rims. From taut lines to the inescapable lowered central bridge, every detail of the Blackfin brand comes alive in original, high-performance unisex eyewear. Together with technological innovation, models BF674 STATEN and BF675 STAMFORD feature original "scratched" colors – from red to matte black, from cyclamen to navy blue and matte sky blue – that create a pleasing and elegant contrast with rims in polished titanium. Intended for women, the 50'S line is completed with BF673 QUINCY eyewear enriched with softer colors like water green or dark chocolate brown.   Experimentation makes way for the careful and precise design of the three new models BF672 STAVANGER, BF677 ATLANTIC and BF676 MALIBU, the ideal reappearance of the generous, contemporary shapes of the very latest BF670 LA ROCHELLE models, an elegant development of the cat eye frame, and BF671 CLEARWATER, classic pantos with a modern interpretation. Characterized by a front in pure titanium and slender, flexible temples in beta-titanium sheet, the new models combine up-to-date lines with variable thicknesses outlined by long arches. The edgy character typical of the brand returns in the inescapable milling of the central bridge. Daring is the watchword for these frames enriched with original colors: model BF677 ATLANTIC in particular inaugurates a scratched anthracite matte finish in decisive colors like purple and green, while BF672 STAVANGER combines lively young colors like blue edged with yellow and elegant hues like smoke gray with natural scratched titanium. For women, BF676 MALIBU comes in colors that range from black edged with shocking pink, bright red with white temples and discreetly elegant matte burgundy with satin finish natural titanium.   All the models that premiered at Silmo are completed by the patented, innovative SWORDFISH end piece, the only one of its kind. The name comes from the swordfish shape of the core that is visible in semi-transparency thanks to the use of invaluable translucent Kraiburg rubber with the comfortable soft touch. SWORDFISH end pieces means having "three pairs in one": opticians can manually adjust the length of the original temple - 145 mm – with the "pre-programmed break" system. In three simple, quick steps, one or two sections of the core and the end piece can be removed to shorten the length of the temple to 140 or 135 mm, respectively. The two key words of the Blackfin brand are creativity and innovation and they have returned in the new website, www.blackfin.eu, created by Pramaor Italian Titanium Eyewear to guide opticians and consumers on a discovery of the top brand by the Agordo-based company. The site is designed to be simple, intuitive and totally customer-oriented to highlight not only the quality that distinguishes the products in the collection but also the level of service provided by the company. With a simple click and for the first time without a password, visitors can view the complete catalog of frames, the 2012 advertising campaign and the "53 Steps to Perfection" video that describes how Blackfin eyewear is made stylistically and qualitatively perfect starting from a simple sheet of very pure titanium.
