Blackfin eyewear among excellent Italian products in Moscow

The extraordinary titanium frames exhibited at "Nation of Fashion" Blackfin, the exclusive brand of titanium eyewear made by Pramaor, is among the protagonists at "Nation of Fashion" in Moscow November 7 through 26, 2012.   Dedicated to Made in Italy style and fashion excellence, the exhibit covers the history of Italy  with historical items from national archives and museums alongside current products by the best of Italy’s entrepreneurial companies. Apparel, footwear and accessories will be on show in the archaeological and industrial complex Krasny Oktyabr (Red October), one of the architectural icons of the Russian capital and now the nerve center of the city’s cultural and social life.   "Nation of Fashion" was organized thanks to the commitment of ANFAO (the Italian Association of Optical Goods Manufacturers) and is part of Exhibitaly – Italian Excellence Today – a program of events promoted by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry for Economic Development in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Moscow -  which began in September and will continue through January 2013 to celebrate Italy’s excellent products in Russia, a strategic market for its economy.   The items on display include two frames from the Blackfin collection: a vision model for women (BF676 MALIBU), where the cat-eye shape has been revisited and softened, but without losing the brand’s typical edgy character given by its milled bridge. The second frame is a sun model for men (BF575 Vulcano), a masterpiece of technology and design that was chosen by the Italian Government to symbolize the excellence of Made in Italy at the 2009 G8 Summit in L’Aquila.   Made totally in Italy from a single sheet of titanium with ultra-slim temples in beta-titanium, Blackfin eyewear markings, decorations and temples are created with laser technology. The eyewear’s extraordinarily light core, with high mechanical performance, is made of titanium, a material with an optimal strength/weight ratio, which is absolutely biocompatible, non-toxic and non-allergic. Lastly, the ultra-slim and ultra-adjustable end pieces are designed for maximum wearer comfort.
