A look at Mido 2012: Italia Independent

Giovanni Accongiagioco: "New proposals? Shops-in-shops and mirrored frames" Because innovation at all costs is part of Italia Independent's DNA, at Mido 2012 the company, whose founders include Lapo Elkann, presented its new proposals and its shop-in-shop project.   In an interview with MidoTV, Giovanni Accongiagioco, another founding partner and eyewear manager, explained that it is an outlet that not only sells eyewear but also accessories and apparel: there are already fifteen of them "but our aim is to have forty by September".   In the meantime, at the Milan appointment "which is a key moment for us", Italia Independent presented other important proposals: the first eyewear in the world with a mirrored frame and, of course, the brand's favorite bestseller, eyewear with a velvet effect.
