Vidivici renews with Caracchi stables with Fonsi Nieto as testimonial

For the 2005 season, VidiVici will stand by the Caracchi-NCR stables in the Superbike World Cup's framework, which began on 26 February on the Losail route in the Qatar desert.

Besides the usual sponsorship based on the top brand Exalt Cycle, the firm has scored an additional point by winning Fonsi Nieto, young and talented Spanish pilot who will partner Lorenzo Lanzi from this season onwards in the historical Bolognese team as Exalt Cycle's testimonial for Spain and Portugal. The champion is wearing the Ipanema model in the photographic campaign designed for Exalt Cycle.

Alfonso Gonzales Nieto, known as Fonsi, born in 1978, is the grandson of the legendary Angel Nieto, who was world champion 13 times. He began competing at a very young age on minibikes, making his presence felt at the championship organised by the Madrid Federation and winning the national Junior 125 title at his debut. Repeatedly a Spanish champion early in his career, he made his debut in international bike competitions in '99. He tried Marco Melandri to the limit in 2002 for the class 250 rainbow crown, a category, for which he won five Gran Prix. After his last season with Aprilia, in 2005 Fonsi Nieto will partner Lorenzo Lanzi in the Caracchi-NCR stables, competing with a Ducati 999RS.
