The latest in the VidiVici Occhiali collections

The Village (Hall 2/1 - D65-69) and the large, completely renewed stand with its minimalist movie set and featuring a meticulous selection of certain strong and pithy elements aimed at creating brand identity and product character, is where VidiVici Occhiali presents the very latest in all its collections and an absolute first: Exalt Cycle Kids.

Lele Danzi, General Manager of VidiVici, said 'We wanted to meet a urgent request from our consumers. Exalt Cycle represents a contemporary way of life, a passionate lifestyle with which people identify. Adults want the same glasses for their kids, and kids want to wear the same models as their parents and the celebrities they see on TV and in magazines'.

The Exalt Cycle Kids vision line is dedicated to kids from 5 to 15 and its mascot is a cheerful rabbit. Functionality and comfort combine with a design that's crystalline, slim and dreamy for a versatile and modern collection. There are two injected models in 'lyx', 3 different calibers and 6 cheerful, sweet colors. All materials are non-toxic, extremely flexible and ergonomically compatible with even the tiniest tot's face shape. Special attention has been given to the end-pieces which are rubbery, moldable and with no sharp edges. Every pair of glasses will have its own case personalized with the line's mascot. Buyers will also be given a free T-shirt and a bag with the Exalt Cycle Kids rabbit.

Exalt Cycle Cayman modelSun 2006 signed by Exalt Cycle has 14 new models with evocative names: Cayman, Capoverde, Maldives, Seychelles, Ibiza, Santorini, and so on. The inspiration came from the loveliest islands in the world, their colors, swing and fascination. Injected models, rounded, feather light masks base 8-7-7,5, precious details, single and multi-colored rhinestone constellations. Oversize, wraparound models that are glamorous and sporty-chic. Shapes are soft and quite buttery and lines are seamless. The logo is a sign of style and flows with the design as a distinctive element, a highly expressive stylistic feature: a metal monogram on the nose-piece and the complete signature on the temples with the XY in contrasting colors or materials engraved on the metal bar. The lenses are among the best on the market. First and foremost is the 'Voodoo' one-piece lens and the latest generation from Sola. Colors range from total black through burnished to pastel. Full nuances, intense brush strokes alternate with shading, and finishes are polished or satin, mirrored or opaque.

Exalt Cycle Exelios modelThe vision collection presented at Mido last May has been joined by 15 other new flashes. Inspired by mythological and modern heroes, men and women who know how to make the most of life. Geometrical shapes, countless variations on a rectangle (clean, linear architecture, shapes slightly raised at the end with a decidedly coquettish allure, a streamlined, feisty mood) all emphasized or softened by the expert use of color and contrasts. Nylor, glasant, metal, acetate and combos range from minimal to extravagant. Colors: total like red, purple, white and total black; pastel like powder pink, sky blue and lilac; bicolor and multicolor with combinations of strong impact. Tie&dye is also present, a master technique in urban mood. The inevitable rhinestones are all hand set, precious and colorful: crystal, aquamarine, topaz, ruby, citrine.

VV Cigar Shield Reader StrassThe VV Cigar collection is amazing with its unconventional and fashionable style. The new 'Shield Reader Strass' model is a pre-assembled 'maquillage' with a glamorous heart, studded with 41 rhinestones that enhance the transparent polycarbonate front-piece and the eyes in a play of reflections and transparencies. The temples are decidedly contemporary and convey the incisive mood of graphic art on mawkish codes. The color technique is the 'tie&dye' effect that creates infinite shades in a complete Eighties revival. The case, decorated like the temples, is nice and handy for slipping into a purse. In two colors, black and pink, and 5 powers (1,1.5,2,2.5,3), the lenses are polycarbonate.

At Silmo, Vidivici Occhiali also presents the Mila Schön Eyewear and Billionaire Eyes collections under license.

Cult accessories, the glasses signed by Mila Schön are dedicated to femmes fatales, women who are aware of their femininity and fascinated by the latest in refined elegance that is never taken for granted. Protagonist this summer is the oversize silhouette in acetate, a mixture of pop art and manga. The sun collection has been completely renewed and the 14 new 'ideas' come in 4 different colors: acetate sheets made ad hoc for the company, metals, glasant and other models. Seventies-style round shapes, TV-effect front-pieces, wraparound masks. The watchword is amaze by going beyond homologation. The expert milling of precious acetates, dual and multi-layers that create a spectacular palette of colors, especially in the precious stripe effect. Logo-mania has gone crazy: the company's monogram becomes the metropolitan 'tag' and is repeated endlessly on the temples for a graffiti effect and, rising to the rank of jewel studied with rhinestones, it transforms into a stud.

Thinking big also for the Mila Schön vision proposal. Two elegant and modern frames join the collection presented at Mido 2005. A touch of the precious is given by the Epoxy technique, opaque enamels inside the temples and joined to the logo on the temple itself.

Billionaire Eyes Caravaggio modelFor Billionaire Eyes, there are 8 sunglasses models in 3 nuances: Caravaggio, Tiepolo, Tintoretto, Cimabue, Masaccio, Vasari, Tiziano, Botticelli. The collection is astonishing thanks to the combination of fashion accents with hi-tech. The allure of the metal is minimal, small, drop-shaped frames, wraparound and rectangular. There's a return of the double bridge in no fewer than 3 models. The entirely injected 'Cimabue' model is feisty and geometrical.
