The latest for next season from Bollé

Quality, technology and innovation: this is the spirit that created the new collection of sunglasses by Bollé (the brand from the Bushnell Performance Optics Group), in which hi-tech merges harmoniously with new trends.

For next season, Bollé will be launching a new range of polycarbonate, photochromic and/or polarized lenses developed in cooperation with Bnl Eurolens, which uses the 'Active Cell Technology' patented by Essilor.

The new 2005/2006 collection is joined by a new, high quality 'Snakes' line. A success about ten years ago, these models were conceived with a wraparound shape for sportswear. They have been reinvented and three different models are now proposed with new frames, colors and technologies: 'Serpent' for slim faces, 'Anaconda' for large faces, and 'Recoil' for very large faces. All models in the 'Snakes' line have the new Bollé signature on the temples.

Serpent is a feather-light nylon frame that's fresh and feminine. Highly protective and comfortable, these glasses are for women who want to wear the same glasses while jogging or out shopping. The nose-piece and the couplings are in Thermogrip for perfect grip, the frame is curved (base 8) for excellent side protection in bad weather. Presented in Plasma with polarized lenses, it is available with the new 'Photochromic Amber' lenses recommended for golfing, trekking and all outdoor activities. They are also available with the new polycarbonate 'Photochromic Polarized Grey' lenses which darken or lighten automatically with light intensity, passing from category 2 to 3; they eliminate glare and help to reduce eye strain. They are perfect for sea wear.

Anaconda is a 'pedigree' unisex model: solid and strong, they can be worn in the city as well as under the most extreme conditions. Presented in the color Tortoise with polarized lenses, they are also available with the new 'Photochromic Rose' lenses which give 35% transmission when clear and 12% when dark, passing from category 2 to 3.

Recoil are new glasses for men with wraparound, ultra-light frames dedicated especially to lovers of sports involving speed or snow. Presented in Shiny Black with polarized lenses, they are also available with the new 'Photochromic Polarized Grey' lenses which darken and lighten automatically with light intensity (from category 2 to 3); they also eliminate glare thanks to the polarized film injected between two layers of polycarbonate.

Bollé also presents Upshot, a new sports model with reinforced adjustable temples, and the ultra-light 'Kickback' glasses.

Kickback weigh only 6 g, they have a 'rimless' frame and polycarbonate polarized lenses which absorb 81% of visible light, eliminate glare and offer excellent vision comfort. Thermogrip pads on the bridge and temple ends guarantee perfect grip for sports enthusiasts. The model is very curved for optimum side protection. Presented in the color Tortoise with brown polarized lenses which eliminate glare, Kickback is available with the new 'Photochromic Amber' lenses which offer 45% transmission when clear and 15% when dark, passing from category 2 to 3. Recommended for golfing, trekking and all outdoor activities.

Upshot is a multi-sport model with innovative technology: patented by Bollé, a rubber and nylon combo on the temples allows them to be folded behind the ears to give excellent grip. The nose-piece and couplings are in Thermogrip to prevent the glasses from slipping on perspiration. Presented in Shiny Black with polarized lenses, they are also available with the new 'Photochromic Rose' lenses which offer 35% transmission when clear and 12% when dark. Passing from category 2 to 3, the lenses are specially recommended for winter sports and cycling.

Lastly, Bollé presents 'Beta': the result of several years of research and development, the new beta-titanium and elastomer technology integrated in the nylon, hingeless frames allows the glasses to adapt immediately to face shapes. The lenses are base 8 for protection and optimum vision quality. Presented in Red/Black with polarized lenses, they are also available with the new 'Photochromic Polarized Grey' lenses which darken and lighten automatically with light intensity (from category 2 to 3) and they eliminate glare thanks to the polarized film injected between two polycarbonate layers.
