
Small Italian eyewear producers at Silmo
A group that's rich in style, tradition, expertise and taste is what Assindustria Belluno will be taking to the 2005 edition of Silmo, Paris, from October 21st through 24th.
16 member companies of Sipao, the section of Assindustria Belluno concerning eyewear producers, will be promoting Italian style in synergy with Acrib (the Brenta footwear association) which will take its artisan-crafted footwear to display with Belluno eyewear. Brillarte, Celes Optical, Fao Flex, Galvision, Garrison, Gb, Iride, Kador Occhialeria, Luxol, Mg Vision, Mistral, Martini Occhialeria, Top Color, Trisottica, Valottica and Visard will promote the eyewear district in 300 sq.m. at Pavilion 1. Another 50 sq.m. will be occupied by Info Point, which will feature food specialties from the Belluno area: Serbosco sauce, Biasiotto wines, grappa and the other Primizie Paris, Lattebusche cheeses, Gretti Ermen cold meats, Procaffè coffee and Unterberger smoked ham.
This year, the synergic promotion agreement with Acrib will give additional value to Belluno eyewear. Two models will be wearing artisan products from Belluno (eyewear) and the Riviera del Brenta (footwear), in accordance with the 'Fashion from head to foot' concept that characterizes the initiative. Moreover, Acrib fashion footwear will take pride of place in a dedicated area at Info Point, with display cases for showing the creations.
Silmo is an important event for small eyewear producers from the Belluno area to meet current clients and attract new ones. But some of the companies in the Assindustria Belluno group are already preparing for another journey: to the most important exhibition in the Far East due to take place in Hong Kong at the end of October.
