
Ray-Ban returns with Lucky Strike Bar Honda team in 2005
Ray-Ban entered Formula One July 2, 2004, with the Lucky Strike Bar Honda team at the French Grand Prix at Magny Cours.
After last season's debut, the unmistakable Ray-Ban brand will again appear on the sides of BAR Honda 007s at the Formula One 2005. The Ray-Ban brand will also appear on the helmets worn by Jenson Button and Takuma Sato, and third driver, Anthony Davidson.
At the official presentation of the new Bar Honda 007, which will race in the 2005 season, the Lucky Strike Bar Honda Team wore Ray-Ban sunglasses model 4053 in the matte black version 601-S.
The Predator style is best expressed in this injected plastic model (part of the new spring/summer 2005 collection) which features a wraparound, sporty design with gutsy lines. The end pieces are internally milled to provide comfort and stability, without compromising the glasses' linearity. Thick temples guarantee additional protection from light and wind and feature the characteristic Ray-Ban signature in metal. The lenses are glass and are there's also a polarized version. Colors vary and are predominantly dark.
