New Dolce & Gabbana collection
Luxury and professionalism, glamour and style, creativity and research: Dolce & Gabbana and Luxottica present a new eyewear collection of great appeal. Inspired by the unquestionable charm of the Sixties and Seventies, the collection modernizes shapes and enhances materials.
Eyewear with soft, generous lines, without being too wraparound, that make use of rectangular shapes and aim at the aggressiveness of the pilot line. The mask model is a must with its sophisticated and sensual design. Precious details: logo in Swarovski crystals or in sought-after galvanic and metal rims for the most innovative eyewear for women.
Standing out in the line for women is model DG 6006B in injected plastic, featuring soft and sinuous lines, generous sizes and slim sections. The image is Sixties style, very lightweight and comfortable, but brought up to date by details and by being wraparound. The nose area is personalized with a small metal and rhinestone monogram embedded in the plastic.
Also in injected plastic is the model for women, 4005B; very large, slightly squared off and with decorated sections. The high temple in plastic has a large logo in metal with pave-cut rhinestones. This model also features shaded colors which, in the nose area, reveals the transparent plastic of the frame.
Model DG 2004B, again for women, is in metal with large, slightly drop-shaped lenses. The glasses are strongly characterized by a slim metal ring at the start of the temple, a reference to round, slave-girl earrings. The effect is special and ornamental and by revealing the area of the temples, a feeling of lightness and refinement is achieved. The logo is on the hinge and is in metal with rhinestones.
In the men's line, model DG 2008 is in metal with drop-shaped Pilot lenses. The metal bridge with studs in galvanic relief. In the nose area, two metal pads have been added as a decoration and as a structural detail. Inspired by the aviator glasses of the Seventies with the addition of ornamental elements to make them more fashionable and luxurious.
Model DG 4012 is in plastic and has generous, but only slightly wraparound, proportions. Inspired by the Sixties, they are personalized by the laser plate on the plastic temples. This model will be available with two types of temples, one slimmer and the other high, like the front piece.
Plastic for model DG 6005, rectangular and slightly wraparound, inspired by the men's glasses of the Sixties. As in vintage glasses, rivets are used to decorate the temples. The Dolce & Gabbana metal logo is embedded in the plastic.
