MotoGP: Safilo on podium again at Qatar

More prestigious wins for the Safilo Group, this time at the Grand Prix in Qatar: one gold and one silver medal in addition to the umpteenth triumph for Valentino Rossi.

On the track at Sepang in Malaysia less than a week ago, Valentino Rossi, testimonial for the Imatra eyewear line, won his seventh world championship five days ahead of schedule. On Saturday, October 1 he also crossed the finishing line in first position at Qatar. The young champion again confirmed his absolute leadership of the MotoGP class and climbed onto the highest step on the podium with his inseparable Imatra eyewear by Safilo.

Great excitement in the 250 cc, where the Carrera Sunglasses Lcr team stood out yet again thanks to a win by young Australian Casey Stoner. At his fourth win of the season and second in the general driver classification for his category, the 2005 championship is wider open than ever and the next races will be decisive for him.

Mika Kallio, testimonial for the Carrera eyewear collection dedicated to the racing world, climbed onto the second step of the podium for the 125 cc and leaped into first place in the classification for his class.
