Mariella Burani 2005-2006 Sun Collection

Sover will present the new Mariella Burani 2005-2006 sun collection to non-Italian trade operators at the forthcoming Silmo fair in Paris (Hall 1-H19).

Six spectacles are made more precious with the addition of elements in mother-of-pearl evoking the world of Mariella Burani. In particular, two details that strongly evoke the Mariella Burani world are presented on the frames: a woman on a bicycle and a rose. The mother-of-pearl is absolutely original and is offered in grey or natural. The other models are characterised by the application of pearls, offering a pleasantly precious visual impact.

Colour is the common thread that binds together these new, original models. Sover, market specialist in the production of eyewear made with injected cellulose/propionate acetate, has developed a series of completely new colours for the collections in co-operation with the maison: from transparent tints with subtle internal veining, to antiqued models with metal frames, and the top (twin-coloured: 1 external colour and 1 internal colour). The colours of the lenses are absolutely natural (brown, green, grey) as dictated by current trends.

The forms are generally broad and enveloping; naturally, the collection includes the aviator lenses that are particularly in demand at the moment from the female public.

The sun collection will be presented at Hong Kong fair next November. The new eyewear dedicated exclusively to a female public will be present in the finest shops in Italy from November-December 2005.
