
Marcolin presents Tom Ford Eyewear in New York
Only a few weeks after the Paris debut, Marcolin will present the first Tom Ford Eyewear to the American market during New York's Accessories Market Week.
Photographic studios Milk Studios of New York was the exclusive and completely new location chosen for the presentation of the Tom Ford sunglasses collection to the press and buyers of major American department stores.
'The United States market has considerable potential, especially for the Tom Ford brand. For this type of product, an accessory linked to the world of luxury and top of the range products, we guarantee selective distribution. At the launch stage in the US, the product will be available only in 60 major department stores. In 2006, selective distribution will be enlarged to include the optics sector and reach a total of around 1,000 outlets in different channels', explained Group chief executive Maurizio Marcolin.
The Tom Ford Eyewear collection is composed of 23 sunglasses models; the first line of vision frames will be presented during Vision Expo East in New York at the end of March 2006.
