Luxottica presents the first Donna Karan collections
The first collections result from the license agreement signed in June 2004 between Luxottica and Donna Karan International.

Tactile luxury combined with leading-edge technology and contrasting materials: light and transparent plastic merge in feather-light metals. The models range from curved, rimless glasses to aviator-style glasses in metal and to oversize one-piece glasses.
Lenses in shades of chestnut, green and blue conceal the eyes with delicately sophisticated nuances to convey a style both daring and individual. Invisible frames, hinge-free temples, engraved logos.
The sunglasses collection has 17 new models, nine of which are in acetate and eight in metal.DK 1008 is an oversize one-piece model in acetate, with the Donna Karan logo engraved on a small metal plate that enhances the flex temples.
Model DK 1009 combines modern acetate technology with metal. Elegant, raised work decorates the whole length of the temples to entail a delightful contrast between polished and satin-finish metal. The Donna Karan logo is engraved on both temples.
In the eyeglasses line, provided with 13 models (six in acetate and seven in metal), acetate model DK 1504 has a cat's eye design to emphasize every woman's more feminine side. The Donna Karan logo is finely silk-screened onto the flex temples to give a glimpse of the metal base. Available in five different colors and also with rhinestones.
The Dkny Eyes line is inspired by the big city where self-expression rules. The design combines classical with modern, luxury with boldness. A constant blend of iconic forms with innovative technology streamlined and urban to light up every nuance and movement.
